FAQ
Do you do auto glass?
Twin City Glass will work with windshields, door glass, dividers, back glass and even rear-view mirrors. However, because of their interior or exterior design, we are unable to work with some vehicles or motorhomes.
Make sure to contact us first so we can discuss your situation. Some newer windshields come with electronic packages or other accessories and will require an appointment.
Do you sell Plexiglas/polycarbonate?
We stock a lot of Plexiglass, or acrylic plastic, as well as polycarbonate. The polycarbonate is much stronger, durable and will take a lot more impact before it breaks. This is used in windshields of logging equipment that provides the operator with a lot more protection.
Do you replace glass units in windows?
If a single pane in your window has been broken, a seal has failed or moisture has been allowed to get into the window, we can replace the glass. We can replace double-paned glass as well as single-paned glass. We can also replace the entire window.
Do you have mobile service?
We do have mobile service for heavy equipment and for residential services, but we do not have mobile services for automobiles. We like to have the vehicles inside where it is dry and we control the environment.
Do you replace fireplace and wood stove glass?
Typically, people will take the doors off their fireplace or woodstove glass and we can take care of them in the shop. We can go to the residence, but it’s more economical to bring the door in.
There’s two types of doors we work on – fireplaces have tempered glass while pellet stove/wood stove have neo-ceramic glass. Stoves run much hotter than fireplaces. We try to replace what was originally in the door.
